Hi, I'm Lena.
A designer and illustrator with a background in building brands. My secret sauce? As a former brand manager and marketer, I know how projects move from idea to finished product — because I used to run them.
From brand strategy to freehand ink.
I started drawing and exhibiting young, but my path into design and illustration didn't lead through art school. I went on to develop brands and direct design projects for companies in tech and fashion. Today, I bring both together — the skills of a designer and a brand strategist.
At the fashion brand tausendkind (now part of vertbaudet), I was responsible for brand content, including a fashion shoot with kid models.
I built and led a major rebrand for photography tech startup fotograf.de and GotPhoto across the German and US markets.
I'm also the founder of Make with Lena, a shop for creative card invitations, and co-created the travel app By the Ways — named "Start-up der Woche" by WirtschaftsWoche.
